Why is it so hard and so long for a Filipino to get a US visa?

What have they done bad for US be so strict with them?
I'm tired of being away from my boyfriend cause of that.

Are you intending to get married when you get here?If so, he can petition you via fiancee visa or K-1. The processing time is from 6 months to a year so it is not really that long. Of course, both of you should comply with the requirements which are the ff. he should be legally and financially able to petition you as a fiancee and eventually his wife, that you met within the last 2years before the petition and you should have proofs of a bonafide relationship.You can visit www.uscis.gov for more info.
