I don't know, the Armenian embassy is in west London somewhere. 80 Strand is the Shell oil building, the Savoy hotel is nearby somewhere.
In response to your other answers, the US embassy is in Grosvenor Place or somewhere, in Mayfair - although the relevance of this to your question is zero. |

National flags are normally flown from Embassies and also official residencies of Ambassadors. Ethnic Armenians are more likely to fly their nations flag as a way of getting up Turkeys nose as Turkey still denies the Armenian Holocaust. |

I really do not know, the embassy is in Kensington and 80 the Strand...isn`t that Shell ?
Shell + oil + gas = Armenia ?
I was told some time ago that the colours represent the `holy trinity` of the christian faith, as does the flag of Andorra. Mount Ararat is in Armenia and Andorra is ruled by alternating bishops (there`s a thought !) so there maybe something in it`s symbolism.
Is the flag the same as that of another nation, business, club or group.
Oh, I have answered nothing really have I ?
