With the british passaport can i live in america?

im brazilian & i also have an italian passaport, there fore im allowed to live anywhere in europe. so at the moment i live in london, ive lived in london for nearly 3 years now. after i lived here for a certain amount of years am i allowed to ask for the british passaport?
and if i get the british passaport am i allowed to live in america?

To apply for British naturalization, you must have lived in the UK for at least one year as a permanent resident. Among other things, the following: In addition the UK citizenship candidate should have fulfilled the five year requirement as detailed below. The five year period is measured from the five years the date the application reaches the home office. The candidate must have been in the United Kingdom at the beginning of the 5 year period; and In the 5 year period the candidate must not have been outside the United Kingdom for more than 450 days; and In the last 12 months of the five year period the candidate must not have been outside the UK for more than 90 days; and In the last 12 months of the five year period the candidate's stay in the United Kingdom must have been not subject to any time limit under the immigration laws; and The candidate must not have been in the United Kingdom in breach of the immigration laws at any time in the 5-year period.

If you have an Italian passport, you may enter the USA visa free under the VWA and stay for 90 days. If you wish to stay longer (6 months max) you need to get a visa.

BY virtue only of a passport from any VW participating country, you can't live in the USA.**

No. A British passport does not entitle you to live in the USA.

To live in the USA you must apply as an immigrant into the USA. This can take many years.
