my mom's husband just got his green card last may 2009 and that makes my mom visit here in philippines for such 11 years she haven't been here since then.now my mom applied me and my siblings a permanent visa and be able to go there and be with them .how long does that take?my mom is just waiting for our papers to be process and maybe then we are waiting for the embassy to call us :)

@george L.okay thanks :)but i do have a classmate and she said that her papers were just process for 1 year.why is that so?
@thecharleslloyd .i dont know the number yet .but mybe my mother has it..where could it that be seen?

that will depend it you are over or under 21. if you're under 21, then it will take about 2 years. if you are over 21, it will take 10 years, and you will have to stay single.

90 days, you should have a case number with the application, visit http://uscis.com and put that number in and you will see the waiting times.
