Is the tatkal system to get passport in India is perfectly suitable to the middle class people who are really in need of passport urgently or is it a favourable system to the creamy layer, govt staff, and others? how many of Indian got arms licence? how many of freedom fighters are alive now? what is the urgency to them to go foreign country? 3. how many of Indians got own property pattas etc., 4. why not the pan card be taken as major document proof to obtain the tatkal passport? does the time arrived to question the decision makers in the government? are they really repesenting the peoples thoughts or making decisions which will favour them?

Hi Ya, looks like you are very furious and i'm sure you b'coz you might have applied for passport in Tatkal and you have still not heard from passport office. Yes, they are various issues in India and over and above they have been problems of corruption, however don't forget that pen is mighter than sword, do keep trying until you get success - Write emails to concern officers asking for delay?
I had faced delay in my kids passport and when I started sending emails - I did not get a reply but yes I got the passport within 1 wk. Currently my parents have been harresed by some land grabbers and police is quite, I'm an NRI and have been sending emails to various police officers but looks like it is falling on deaf years - no option but planning to travel to India and fight for their safety - Don't give up - |
