is there anybody who has gone throught the k1 fiance visa ?.?

i would like to know if it would be possible to be allowed to travel to the usa to see my fiancee after we have filed the k1
as it will take upto 5 months in the states and then 3 > 5 months in the uk,
i have a ESTA at present , we plan to be married 3rd APRIL 2011
has anybody done this and was it easy

Yes, it's possible. Just make sure you bring PROOF that you need to return to the UK.... letter from employer, apartment lease, car registration, banking statements showing regular deposits and withdrawals, etc...
