My wife is a foreign national and has been married and living/working in the UK for 3 years. She got ILR last year or slightly before it if my memory serves correctly. What can she do next. Can she apply for British Citizenship and accordingly a British passport after a year? After ILR this her 4th year in the country. I have been told that she needs to apply for this in good time. Is this correct|?

yes,u can apply now.
in fact one year after getting ILR ,u can apply for citizenship.
rules are changing by the end of this year,so apply asap |

Well, not sure about how the UK works, but here in the US these things take forever! SO I'm not sure about the rest of your question but I would say applying ASAP would be beneficial. |

right answer is she needs to be in the uk for at lest 5 years LEGAL and she needs to have at lest 1 year the leave to ramian
so all 2gther 6 years then she needs to get citizenship and go to this place to swear on the bible n all to be a citien then aply for a passport
