I would truly feel sorry for these people if they came here just to work and gave their family a better chance.Only 40% of the illegal aliens actually work But lets be honest here. It's not to go to college or save up money to become legal then make money so the people at home don't starve. the first thing they do is have an anchor baby because they know they can exploit the system. Then they are entitled to welfare for there kid. Then when they can save up money they get stolen social security numbers so they can work once that happens they then apply for government housing so there rent is cheaper gov pays 60% of there rent. This is a system they are taught by other illegals. While normal Americans look at these services as insurance for if everything else fails we will have them when times get hard.illegals look at them as free money. The cost you ask lol well get ready to work the rest of your life cause the social security money is gone to helping these people. I mean who wants to retire at 50 or 60? Hospitals are closing down because medicaid cant pay for there services due to so many illegals. The job market is saturated with low skilled workers making it hard for anyone to get a job so pay rates drop. ect ect ect i could go on and on. But the point is this is hurting our country.

I am totally against amnesty. Our hospitals, schools & other public institutions are wayyy tooo crowded. They should be sent back to their original country. America should work with other countries so that the people there are comfortable there.

At this time in our country, i am absolutely against it. I am however for streamlining the process of allowing fluent english speaking , drug free, self-supporting and those with a proven crime-free background to become legal. (too bad we can't toss out people already here on that basis, including white citizens :-) ) We are not in a position to add to the burden to our country. There are enough people in this country already with their hands sticking out for their "check" and freebies and filling the emergency rooms with non-emergencies.

Many countries require you to have a certain amount of money to move there. I'm not an expert, but I'd say that's to make sure you are there to start a new life by your own work and not on someone else's dollar. I have a problem with "buying votes" which is what I think the push for amnesty is all about. Does anyone actually think most politicians with cushy jobs care about the hispanics other than for their vote? I think we all know better than that. I'm over all that PC $**t!

Against,why would we reward criminal behavior. I'm all for Immigration,but if you break the first law you encounter in the US,by entering Illegally,I think we can safely assume you are not the type of Immigrant this Country needs.We have more than enough criminals of our own,without importing new ones.
