Ive heard of people that filed all at once and get a greencard after 4 month of filing , others after a year and so on !, i wonder what it depends on? , what would be the fastest way.. if you meet all the legal requirements.. ? thanks!!

There is no shortcut.The only way to apply for green based on marriage is through Adjustment of Status(1-485).The processing time can range from 3months - 2years depending if you have any RFE's, you don't have any problem in FBI name check or if you will have an interview or luckily skip it and you will get an approval instead. |

If you entered legally into the US you are eligible for an Adjustment of Status. And it can take about 6 months for you to recieve your greencard. But it can take longer. |

Forms I-130 and I-485 should be filed concurrently. See uscis.gov
for the forms and instructions. This is the normal procedure and
due to backlogs will likely take 6 months or more. |
