It depends on how long you have been married.
I am usually on the side of immigrants. If you married your husband because you loved him and planned to stay with him but then things went very wrong, then I have no problem with you staying here after a divorce.
But...
If you married your husband knowing you were only marrying for purposes of obtaining legal status in the United States, then you have no support from me or most Americans. It is because of people like you that honest marriages have such a difficult time making it through the immigration process. |
