I entered the US on a student visa (F-1) and am currently on H1-B work visa sponsored from my company. I am applying for a green card based on my marriage to a US Citizen. In the petition forms I-130, I-485, G-325A etc. an Alien Registration Number is required. I know i can leave it blank but I did get an A# on my EAD card which i received as part of OPT. But this EAD card is expired now.
Do I still enter that A# from the EAD card in the immigration forms or should i leave them blank considering the EAD card has expired?

Use the A number shown on your EAD.This is your permanent file number regardless of the EAD expiration. |

You know this is a difficult question but if I were you I would leave it blank. You can also try calling USCIS and ask them what you should do. Good Luck. |

No, do not enter your A# from your expired EAD. Just leave it blank. You will be assigned an alien#.
The category with which your A# was previously assigned is now different from the family based petition that you have applied for. |
