NO the fiancee visa will only permit you to enter USA and GET married within the first 3 months. if you do NOT get married within 90 days, you will become illegal.
After you get married, the spouse applies for change of status. Send the application for EAD with the change of status application. When that is approved, then you get an EAD - employment authorization document - which allows you to work.
You cannot work before you get the EAD. |

As far as I know, you need to fill out a separate application to authorize you to accept employment in the US. It should be the I-765, Application for Employment Authorization. |

You need to have a work permit or EAD before you can apply for a job.You can apply for an EAD (I-765) along with your Adjustment of Status (I-485) for free after you get married.You will receive it ahead of your green card usually within 90 days from filing and after biometrics.It will allow you to work while your green card is in process.Without EAD you are not allowed to apply for jobs. |

Not on a fiance visa. When you get here and then marry him within the 90 day period...you can then apply for adjustment of status so you will be able to work. |

You can work once you get the Employment Authorization Document. You will get that about 4 months after you get here.
Do a yahoo search for "K1" visa for the details. The US citizen is the one who has to file the paperwork. |
