If you are a permanent resident for 5 years you can try reading up on this link for the requirements how to file for N-400 or naturalization:

First - are you in the country legally (you talked to a customs officer at the border, and have a passport stamp or visa) or illegally (you came in by yourself?) If you are here legally you need to obey the rules of your visa - visitor visas can't be used to get citizenship, and neither can student visas.

If you have a residency visa, then you need to live in the US 5 years (3 if you are married to a US citizen) and then you can apply for citizenship.

If you are not here legally, you shouldn't be, and you won't be able to get citizenship ever.
