American female wants to marry a man from the country of Mauritius what are the laws of that and should we?

I am in love with a man from the country of Mauritius. I need to know of the green card laws and visa laws. I also am interested in finding out the marriage regulations and recognition for his country as well as the Untied States. I need also to know where to go to apply for such things as this.

Check out uscis.gov for more information and dowloadable forms. you can check out the US embassy website at usembassy.state.gov. There's also a Country Information Sheet on Mauritius at travel.state.gov, just look for the prompt in the bottom left corner of the home page.

Just get married and apply for adjustment of status if the guy is already in the USA or if he is out of the USA apply for a fiance visa. Forms available via USCIS website. Check the Mauritian embassy about laws and recognition of your marriage.
