Hi,
I am an American married to a British citizen. Our daughter is also British, as she was born there. We got legally married in the UK in 2007. After that we relocated to work abroad and now we're considering moving back to the USA.
My question is about the K3 adjustment of status or immigration process...should we start it NOW or wait till we're actually in the US? I've read that if you legally enter the US you can apply for adjust of status and permission to work.
I would like to move back this summer [2011]. Please let me know how to proceed...shall I start now and if so, what forms shall I fill out?
