American married to an English man, living in the Uk moving back to America...?

I'm American and I moved to the UK 2 years ago after I married an Englishman. I am currently living here on a Indefinite leave to remain visa. We would like to move back to America in about a year and wanted to start my husband's visa process soon. Has anyone ever applied for a US spouse visa while living in the UK before? If so, how do we go about doing so...and more importantly, what do we do with the I-864 form?

TO obtain an immigrant visa for your husband you need to file an
immigrant visa petition (Form I-130). You might want to contact the
US embassy to see if it can be filed there. If not, you can find the
form and instructions as to where to file at uscis.gov The I-864
should not be filed until requested.
