And since when has wearing a Bhuka or Hijab and demanding Sharia law been part of British culture?

Additional Details
I do not want to hear guilt ridden rubbish about the British Empire i am not responsible that people would rather live in mud huts than accept Civilisation

It has no place in this country. It sickens me that there was a BA employee who had to fight for the right to wear a cross, yet muslims are allowed to go around dressed like daleks.

My 81-year-old mother was on a bus recently when a ticket inspector boarded and checked everyone's passes and tickets. He nodded to the first person, a muslim woman covered from head to toe. All other passengers were made to show their passes and their faces compared to the photo on the pass. By the time he got to my mother she had wound her headscarf around her face and refused to remove it. The inspector tried to make her remove it but she refused to do it unless the other woman was also made to remove her mask. Other passengers shouted encouragingly to my mother. My mum says that, at her age, she has nothing to lose. I wish more people would stand up for our rights.

Its not part of this culture and never will be

if those idiots who are trying to enforce these issues here in the UK do not like how things are here then they are welcome to leave at any time.

Hell i would very happily escort them to the nearest airport and wave bye bye.

You must have not got the memo, Britain doesn't have a culture, up until the 1970's when Asians came to save us. Were scum and they're amazing and they can do no wrong....keep saying this over and over until brainwashing is complete.

It obviously isn't and therefore shouldn't be! Whilst I respect what other cultures do in their own countries, we have no place for it here especially for the evil religion that is trying to tear the fabric of our once great nation apart!

Wearing the burkha or hijab and demanding Sharia Law have no place in British culture. The Internationalist Left have tried to redefine Britishness. But multiculturalism has failed in Britain. There is growing antagonism, not just between whites and other ethnic groups, but between ethnic groups. Multiculturalism has not made us one happy family, it has merely been the pretext for the assertion of Islamic power, and the subjection of the indigenous white (often Christian) British.

There are plenty of countries where Islamic clothing and Sharia Law are part of the culture and the solution would seem to be simple: If people want to live that way, then let them move back to their countries of origin and live in peace. As the saying goes: When in Rome, do as the Romans do.

Rule-Britannia
It has never been part of British culture, and never will be.Just like the third world immigrants that live here arent british-and never will be!

I dont know what annoys me more.People wearing the Hijab, or idiots like wolfie / wensleydale who seem to think that it is part of british culture, and that Britain has always been a nation of immigrants and "tolerant" British people.

There memories seem to only go back to the 1970s.

In the 1950s there were less than 50,000 immigrants in Britain at all-of which less than 20,000 were muslims.

Since the Boss Men in the Houses of Parliament says so. If they want to wear one of those sacks over their heads, let them do so.

Since the British Empire took over Muslim countries and made them citizens of the Empire.

There are several million British Muslims. Many of Pakistani origins. They are as British as Tony Blair, and because Britain is a democratic country they have every right to try to influence the system and to try to change it.

The Christians can demand that Christian culture be observed, such as Sunday trading laws. the secularists can demand that secular culture be observed such as the separation of church and state, and the Muslims can demand that Muslim culture be observed such as modest dress. It's all part and parcel of being a modern multi cultural country.

The idea that everybody must be conform to a single set of rules and a single culture is an outmoded racist concept dreamed up by white supremacists who wanted to keep the slave population under control and such narrow minded and discriminatory views have no place in a modern country.
