Any Jobs for a paralyzed person?

1 year ago i got paralyzed by a car bomb that hit our Humvee. there was 4 people i was the only one to survive I was in the army and a young guy now i am living off of disability is there anyway that i can get a decent paying job? I am basically screwed and Afton thought of committing suicide... I am almost homeless......... help!

How good are you with computers? Maybe take a course or two on setting up networks and maintaining systems for companies.

Where are you located brother, and to what extent are you paralyzed.
**Edit** Waist down isn't terrible considering it could have been worse. Atlanta is a pretty big city so the public transit isn't terrible. Let me dig through my contacts to see who I know in the Atlanta area. What skills do you have? What did you do in the military? What branch of service? Do you have educational benifits? Would you consider relocation? |

There are plenty of jobs out there which you would be able to do. Anything with computers, sales, management, teaching. I even know some paraplegics who are doctors. The sky is the limit, you just have to find a place that is accessible. See if you have any education or training benefits available, either through the military or social security.

god bless you hate to hear that. do some clerical work where you work at the computer like accounting, medical billing (can be done from home) or general office work
depending on where you live there are programs for disabled people that will help you with work. where i live (los angeles) its called Department Of Rehabilitation |

Maybe something that you can do from home.Or any office type jobs ,that way you can be at a desk all day. |
