Most of the legals I know do. They do not support illegal entry nor Amnesty. I think very few legal ones do.
Nor do they accept all the baloney put out by pro illegals. |

Seven Simple Steps...
Our government is misleading and lying to us. The reality is that illegal immigration could be simply stopped for little money. We simply need to remove all incentives for them to come here illegally and they will self-deport.
1. Remove all social programs to illegals. No medical (except in emergencies to ship them home), no welfare, no food stamps, no anything.
2. Stop the anchor baby laws.
3. Fine or jail employers who do not register and pay taxes on all employees. This includes day laborers.
4. No more schooling for illegals. It costs about $10,000 per kid per year. Why are we paying for their education?
5. Tell all illegals that they can either leave peacefully or they will be removed. Those that are caught here after the grace period will face deportation and will NEVER be allowed into this country again for any reason.
6. Make all illegals caught here work on the border fence before they are deported.
7. Make English THE language for this country. No more printing every government form in multiple languages. No translators paid by the government. No requirement that the police be able to speak spanish.
The money we would save in taxes from the costs these people place on us will easily pay for any increases in the price of a head of lettuce.

Yes, even foreigners from other coutries, along w/ most black and whites. I have spanish in my family, but they are legal. And, they believe illegals should go back home if they can't jump through the right hoops. It is not a matter of skin color, but it is a matter of becomming a legal citizen the right way. To me, they should be treated like prisoners......and sent back. |

Wow! I have yet to hear someone (hispanic or otherwise) sum up the illegal immigration issue better! I would feel the same way if I was hispanic and others too lazy to immigrate legally were tarnishing the reputation of my race!

I detest them, when they say they don't speak English, but really do understand it. I detest that they can receive welfare and other benefits that are not earned by them. They don't seem to care if they become citizens, yet think they are entitled to all the benefits that are only for legal Americans. |

here here, i agree totally, i hate the fact that when you hear Latino or Hispanic people automatically assume Mexican.... Mexicans are very different from Caribbean Hispanics and south American Hispanics. because of the magnitude of how many there are here illegally it has made many hispanics that did every thing by the book angry. we are not the same. i don't think we should feel like we've betrayed them in any way, they should be deported along with their offspring.

They are disgusted with those who fly the Mexican flag (we can only assume that they're MEXICANS) at pro-illegal rallies as though it is a Mexican referendum, not a political statement of US policies.
That one is unhappy with Mexicans does not make them a racist, it only means that they are unhappy with people and government of Mexico, because its a country that has illegally shipped nearly 10% of its poorest population into the US and, because of this abuse of US law, is the primary cause of the current growing sentiment against illegal entry!!!! They are unhappy with a country that has a national policy to encourage and support illegal immigration to the US and counts money shipped back to Mexico from the US as the second largest source of national income!!! They are disgusted with the duplicity of Mexican nationals who have the nerve to call the US racists when their own country has far harsher and racist immigration policies of their own. |

Finally a clear voice and a clear question.I too know many Hispanics that abhor the illegals.They are disgusted with people assuming they are Mexican and they are tired of all the ignorant people (white mostly)that are pro illegal and help this unjust cause.He is more true to his race and cultural than any of you .At least his pride is justified. How can you justify your insults to him ? I do and I stand up for what I believe in. Whether or not you or anyone else thinks it's right. I understand that you may not like Mexican-Americans, "but" you should not generalize and say that "all " Mexicans think they speak for every single Latin American. as a puerto rican, i can say that i do not support illegal immigrants. they come into the us and expect americans to take care of them and their anchor babies, and have the audacity to say they're entitle to all the perks here, and top it off belittle the usa and fly their mexican flag on us soil. why don't these cowards stand up to their government and fight for a better living. they give legal hispanics and latin people a bad name. furthermore, mexicans feel they are better but want other latin and hispanics to back them for their illegal cause. |
