if you were mature enough to drive, and have a job you would be able to figure this out on your own. you have to quit relying on mommy! i don't think you are mature enough yet, or you would have figured out public transportation, and tried to arrange another ride. don't blame your parents, that is just childish. when you are old enough to figure things out on your own you will be old enough to work, and drive.

When I was a kid and wanted to get somewhere, I didn't ask mommy. I took the bus! If you want more responsibility then you need to show your parents that you are ready. If you have all your body parts, and are capable of taking public transportation, then do it. When you want something really bad, you find a way to get it no matter what. You need to mature more. How are you going to get to your job? Mommy or daddy? That is not showing responsibility.

You can't drive on your own with just a permit -- a licensed driver has to be with you at all times. Your mom is NOT a taxi and doesn't need to drop what she's doing just to tend to your needs (or wants) all the time just because you suddenly want to do something. Her time is valuable too. Schedule a time for this trip in advance with her and change your attitude big time if you ever expect to drive her car.

I think is a great think you want to work and drive, tell her that you will me able to do almost all your stuff without bothering her !

as a mom myself, I know sometimes I feel like I am constantly having to drive someone here or there, and my needs constantly get pushed to the side, so I understand where your mom is coming from. On the other hand, how can you start driving yourself if you can't get over there to get the permit? You probably just caught your mom at a bad time. Sit down with her sometime (as soon as she walks in the door from work is NOT a good time) and explain to her that you appreciate everything she does for you and your friends, and you want to start helping her more with things around the house. Ask her if there is anything you can do, the dishes, the laundry, fix supper for her. She'll know you're buttering her up for something, but if she's an overworked mom like most of us, she'll take what she can get! Then explain to her that you need a ride to the permit office so you could start helping out with the driving more. Maybe you can exchange a ride for a chore or something like that. Say if you'll drive me to the permit office, I'll do the laundry, or something like that, and then follow through with it so your mom knows you're good on your word.

download the permit book from your state drivers website or ask the school counselor for one, they sometimes have them or call or write for one. they will send them to you.

so far as the application, take a taxi or find a friend or wait until your mother has more time. more than likely by the time she gets off work she is exhausted and too tired to go anywhere.

it seems like you are having a difficult time with both of your parents communicating and getting them to understand your needs, but you also have to view your mothers point of view as well. You guys should have a conversation together and try to identify what your problem is and try to come up with a solution together. Also tell her how you feel about the situation and how much you would benefit if you got your permit and the job ;). good luck

Well, maybe she is just scared of the fact dat u can drive now. Well i wud also be mad if my parents did dat.
Try talking to her n aviond shouting. Dat always makes it worse.
