I was working on L1 blanket visa with a company, in feb 2009 they told me they are going out of business so I should move on F1 visa as I was already doing masters from USA. I applied for F1 visa in first week of march, now in april 2009 I got letter from USCIS asking for proof of last paycheck or something can proof for last employment. Just a day later my other group company gave me a job offer, which I can accept as I have L1 blanket from same group company.
Now my question is, what should I reply to USCIS for my F1 inquiry ?
should I write them, and tell them my employment is continuing with another group company, thereby I wants to withdraw my F1 application and I will be working on L1 same as previous and return my I-94 form back to me.

well, they're asking you to prove you were in status on your original L. I wouldn't ignore that request, or you may find yourself unable to keep the F or get a new L. |
