Are activists / illegals racist protest illegal immigration law protest at U.S. embassy in Mexico?

MEXICO CITY (AP) - More than 300 opponents of Arizona's new immigration law are protesting at the U.S. Embassy in Mexico City, chanting "Obama, keep your promise" and demanding legalization
for undocumented Mexican workers in the United States.

Mexico's president has blasted the law aimed at deporting illegal immigrants as "discriminatory," but citizens in Mexico have held few public protests. There were larger demonstrations Saturday in Arizona and California, as well.

Critics of the law say it could lead to racial profiling. Supporters say Arizona is trying to enforce immigration laws.

Sorry, but the race card has been totally worn out. This is about illegals and the unwarranted drain they put on American society. Illegals should be rounded up like cattle, branded, jailed and eventually deported to their own country, wherever it is. Illegals are NOT welcome in the U.S. period

Well, probably they do have a protest going on, but to be sure, those people who are protesting do not represent the majority of Mexicans. Many of the Mexicans living in Mexico actually have mixed feelings about the people who come to the U.S. legally or illegally. Many of them feel that they should stay in Mexico and make Mexico more productive and not drain the country of the young talent. They feel that the ones who leave are abandoning the work that needs to be done in Mexico, I have had lengthy conversations with Mexicans in Mexico about this topic and many of them do not have much sympathy for the illegals here, in fact, quite surprising to me was many of the comments that were opposite of what you'd think you would here, like I said, they feel like these illegals here have abandoned their country.

Despite what Calderon has said, just like us here with Obama, they say a lot of crap, but it doesn't represent what the majority of us are feeling or thinking.

No its because there is a lot of racists people out there making this law look like racial profiling and people think it is racist .and why wouldn't they i mean n there is a lot of racism out there ..look at yahoo answers .look at all the negative answers and questions being posted about Latinos, mainly Mexicans ..i mean if your going to try to prove a point about illegal immigration and the new Arizona law why use racism if that's only proving that most people support the law because they know it targets Mexican and Latinos.
