Yes, religion teaches us to help and be kind to the poor and the U.S. is one of the most, if not the most, generous country on this planet.

Please do not try to spin religion around because religion does not teach the poor (ILLEGALS) to steal and covet things from their neighbors (US Citizens).

What is racist about wanting to uphold the laws of our country? They are there for a reason. People come in the front door at a controlled and documented rate , Just like my great grandfather all the time.
The whole world can't move here, especially the whole third world. There is not enough space, and they do not bring enough education & skills to be self sufficient here. It would swamp our social service system, and then where will we be?
If you have no respect for the rule of law, and believe that an Immigrant should be able to come by any means possible, adopt one yourself, sponsor one yourself, support one yourself, and convince just about every other country on the planet that has much more restrictive policies than us to do the same. We are a revolving door compared to most other nations, so what is the problem?

Debate the issue, stop thinking that you can somehow trick everyone into supporting your viewpoint.

Illegal means illegal, I sympathize with people wanting a better life, but I believe my own countrymen are more important, family first. I also believe that we have to know who is coming to our country.

I am a Christian and I am originally from Vietnam, I came here legally and had to work very hard to learn the language (still struggle) and to become a citizen. I resent these people who think we owe it to them when I worked so hard.

I thought I had seen all of the cowardly tricks that illegals and their supporters use and now you are taking scripture from the Bible and twisting them to fit your agenda. Give me a break! It's convenient how you ignore the commands, 'Thou shalt not steal' and 'Thou shalt not lie' and 'Thou shalt not covet'. There are many more I am sure. You are a hypocrite, like so many others like you. There is also something in the Bible about obeying the laws of the land. Of course, you left that one out too.
