Are all persons who oppose illegal immigration racists?

If this is true, then I am a racist against my own people. Legal immigrants and descendants do not support illegal immigration because they are breaking the law. When our relatives came here legally, and others do not, it makes us all look bad. My grandfather came here from Mexico, and learned the language, embraced American as his new home. He started his own grocery store businesses, and nearly everyone of us has gone to college, and have kids in college. Illegals have caused problems as some Americans think we support their cause and we do not.

Not necessarily. I oppose illegal immigration, and I'm not racist, but I am a culturist. There is a difference. I went through the trial by fire because I was born and raised here. Most of the illegals that I see are waving their countries flag outside of their home and not trying to integrate with the rest of US society. Most of the illegals I've talked too send over half of their pay back home, which hurts our economy and they take the low end jobs that other American's could be working that don't have the skills to do something more. This creates a hardship for all of us. We pay taxes not only for the people that aren't qualified to take higher end jobs, because the slots are already filled by illegals... We also pay taxes to cloth and feed people that aren't even supposed to be here legally and who have no interest in making a contribution to our society.

Every other country in the world would not stand for this kind of invasion, and it is an invasion. Every other country in the world has rules as to how many non-nationals can come into their country in a given time and become citizens of that country. The reason is simple... Those people need to be integrated in the new society and the learn the culture and rules of behavior.

I personally do not care if a person is racist, If that person sees that our American laws are being broken and we are being invaded, i side with them on that issue.

Illegal immigration has nothing to do with race and everything to do with law. If you are breaking the law it does not matter to me what color your skin is or where your great great grandfather came from or didn't come from. I could care less. I have no problems with Mexicans that are here legally and that are productive members of society. I have no problems with Vietnamese that are here legally I have no problems with anyone that has followed the law and became citizens of the United States. I do have serious issues with people who come into this country illegally, obtain jobs illegally are paid illegally and are a drain on the societies that they have inhabited. I have a problem when I watch the news and see that anothe hospital has had to close because of the influx of illegal immigrants that can not pay their bills. This means thousands of Americans are not without work. I have a problem when the consitution is applied to non american citizens. Meaning if you are here illegally you have no rights. If you want the rights that Americans have then you need to take the legal steps to become a citizen. Does this make me racisit? I do not think that I am racisit, I have cousins that are Mexican. I have a step grandmother that is Vietnamese. I have a husband that is German and Russian, I myself am , irish, french, spanish and italian. So if being racisit now means that you respect and follow the law then by all means call me racisit. I do not ask for anything more than what I would require of myself.

well i dont consider myself racist but i definitely oppose illegal aliens in the US! i applaud the immigrants who have learned our language, came here legally, and are actually abiding by the laws

NO. Im just totally agains lawbreakers acting like they are owed something. Nothing makes me angrier than to hear the Illegals saying "we have a right to be here" no you dont, go home and get in line like all the other people across the globe who want the life the US has to offer.

Opposition to illegal immigrants is a legal stance, not a racist stance.

People who break the law should be punished. Illegal immigrants are punished by forcing them back to the country from which they illegally entered out country.

By the way, illegal immigrants who hae children in this country have given birth to other illegal immigrants. The sins of the parents are legally binding on their illegal offspring.

Of course they are not all racists. Some of us simply believe that if there laws and they should be followed. Many disagree. I say "Bravo, Col. Rodriguez". I agree with him that illegal aliens are not immigrants, but lawbreakers. They should go back to Mexico and get their visas, or whatever they need to come in legally if they want to live in the US. I have many friends of all races and national origins. Most of them feel the same as I do about the immigration problem.

Everyone thinks as soon as white people go against something and it happens to be a certain race that is doing the somthing that, its white people being raciest. White people have a bad name from slavery days in the south. (which was wrong) However no one wants to realise that it was the south that did slavery and white people faught for the freedom of slaves and for theirs. Also many countries have been involved in slavery and people do not make near as big adeal about it. I am very happy that this guy is speaking out because it is ridiculus how these illegals march saying they have no rights and how it is unfair that we are trying to crack down on this problem. First off you are ILLEGAL. You have commited an illegal act in america. People who are not Americans have no say in how America should be ran. Secondly tons of criminals illegally come over from the border every year. These people are DANGEROUS. America has enough crime of course we are going to be pissed about illegal immigration when it is indangering America. most of the illegals deal in drugs and other crimes. Its bad news. Yes, there are some that come over to better their life and live the American dream. I think we should do somthing to have some sort of application process with a screening for people who really just want a better life and are poor in Mexico. Col. Rodriguez, I salute you. All of the career officers I dealt with when I was in go it. This is a country that runs under the rule of law. That is one of the reasons the military reports to the elected officials, not the other way around. The rule of law is really what made this country. You can say immigrants did but they came here because of the rule of law, or others would say, "A Better Life."
