Yes, everyone is fingerprinted on arrival now. The Americans are a lot hotter then the UK on checks and it just isn't worth trying to fool them. The consequences are severe.

Yes - you are printed on arrival when going through immigration.

It would be incredibly foolish to attempt to deny previous convictions. You can say what you like on the application but when it is checked you will be in deep trouble. It's not worth it.

I am a US citizen and my wife is on her Green Card. She was finger printed on her arrival just few weeks ago. So, I would say YES.

yes,and he probably wont get in if they find out he has been to prison in the last 5 yrs or lies on his visa.

Yes, but nothing to worry about unless another government has your fingerprint records and you have a conviction.

Well, not only are they fingerprinted on entry under US-VISIT, they are also fingerprinted at the time of the visa application. If he has several convictions, depending on what they were for, he may not even be eligible for a visa. However, that would be straightened out at the interview. As pointed out, he could be found permanently ineligible for lying on his visa application. Almost everyone with a visa is allowed to enter the US, unless it appears he's actually coming in to be an immigrant and only has a tourist visa. It shouldn't really take hours of sitting around at the embassy as they do have appointment systems that have cut down on processing time.

Do you know why these measures (finger printing, biometric data, police state alert, checking your id at random) have been introduced in USA? I can tell you why here: the goverment has been hijacked/ overtaken by a powerful group of elite bankers that control even america today. Through bribery and threats, the government is under the control of these powerful groups all these anti-terrorist measures: finger printing, biometric data etc is just a guise to control you, in the future. they will know what where you’ve been, what you’ve done, where you go shopping etc, they will have total control over your life. It will be a cashless society where all your data and money will be stored in RFID chips implanted into your hand. If you do something they don’t like they’ll simply cancel your money balances – total control! The technology to do all this aleady exists, they just need to implement it into your lives Think about it: without the treat of terror, do you think the US government would be able to take away so many freedoms the US citizens have been enjoying previously. finger prints for dirving license, power to detrain and arrest without reason, indefinite imprisonment without reason.
