Are americans against all the mexicans or just the illegal ones?

Actually you can't have done much reading on this forum... If you had you would know that overwhelmingly that it is Illegals (wither Mexican or not) that Americans are against. Legal immigrants are welcomed.

Most Americans are not "against all the mexicans" (sic). I think that most of us just want people to come here legally. In addition, if people come to the USA, we want them to be good citizens. We don't want gangs (there are Mexican gangs here), we don't want people who don't work, and we (a note to our middle-eastern immigrants) we don't give a sh*t about the way things were done in the old country.

I'm against illegal immigration, not just Mexicans, ALL nationalities. Mexicans and hispanics get the most attention because there are MORE of them. 33,000 illegal immigrants(an estimated number) in my CITY alone.

I don't think americans are 'against' mexicans. americans are against people being allowed to break the law without being prsued for breaking the law.

the mexican people are our neighbors and they want jobs. there are more jobs in the usa than in mexico so it makes sense for them to come here looking for a job.

if we are caught doing anything Illegal. I can not See for the life of me why these people who did no fight for our freedom, loved ones fight and die,pay taxes out the ca-zoo , should have the benefits of our country it' Simply I-L-L-E-G-A-L.
They are taking from us what we have all paid for all our working lives and our parents paid for all their lives, FREE. And I am told I need to learn to speak Spanish. **** Why don't the people who think they have to be hear learn to speak ENGLISH. Then maybe they could understand what they are doing is wrong.

I don't think that Americans are against Mexicans, since they do provide needed labor especially in the agricultural industries. They also provide, as do all immigrants, a growing population versus a declining population due to a low birth rate.
I can't speak for all Americans but my sense is that they are against the unfairness of letting huge numbers of people of any country come into the USA illegally. Unfortunately our immigration laws have been rendered useless because of political reasons. Finally you must excuse Americans if they feel threatened after 911 with the reality that anyone can make it across our porous southern border, and that includes people who don't have our best interest at heart.

its not "mexicans" that americans are against....its ALL illegals, no matter what there origins. (there are just more hispanics, than the other nationalities).

We taxpaying citizens are the ones burdend by there presence. I'm tired of paying for childern I didn't give birth to, and all of there cousins, uncles, aunts...etc

I am against illegal alien / immigrants! I have nothing against any nationality. Though I do get upset at those who try to claim that latin-american immigrants have some sort of RIGHT to be here.

Oh... one mexican immigrant I hate... our Attorney General !!

You will see my name pop up very often when it comes to the subject of illegal immigration. I'm sure it is hard for people to believe that I am not racist, because I speak my mind on the this extremely controversial subject of illegal immigration. I am African-American for the person who said that I should wear a pointy white hat. I very much welcome immigration from all countries as long as it is done "LEGALLY". Every question I throw out is in regards to "ILLEGAL" immigration. I don't understand why people continue to be hostile with answers when I am only trying to express my own personal opinion on how over-populated a lot of us Americans think the U.S. has gotten, due to our Mexican neighbors crossing the boarder illegally & having babies to make it hard for them to be sent back to their country. They want to have a baby on American soil to keep this from happening. I made the comment about the 300-millionth baby born in America, because I really do believe that Mexico does have a hidden agenda. Yes, that baby is American, because it was born here; but... 9 times out of 10... it was born to an illegal immigrant!!!

I think some are against mexicans, whatever they are...they just don't want to admit it. Personally I have nothing against them as long as they are here legally and are willing to speak English and join in with this great country, lock, stock, and barrel.

The problem with Mexico is extreme over population! People prooving them good Catholics by having ten kids! No more then two kids Please! If that would be case no one would suffer here in USA! Now illegal immigration is our nations problem, they getting free health care, free schooling and most important free ride! I have to pay 300 a month a health insurance out of pocket, and cannot afford to take my only child to the doctor, and as soon I step outside I see a Latino woman with at least five kids. How come she is allowed to have five kids in america and white woman cannot offord to have one? Who is paying for that? Illegal is Illegal , and how come they not trying to go to China where all the jobs are, how come every body come illegaly to usa?
