No, tourist are the usual source. They are responsible for the great increase in TB (drug resistant TB) a disease America had all but wiped out years ago.
That is why out health departments check legal immigrants.

Probably. Tourists are examined before they come. Illegal aliens are not. The 'right' places are showing up with swine fue to boot. So the hispanic section of town in Colorado and the Hispanic sections of town in El Paso, Larado. Those folks do a lot of back and forth communiting and the the illegal aliens are most frequently found exactly in that sort of community. |

it's tourist that GO and come back that have brought it here, just like the Canada cases, everybody that got the flu went to Mexico and came back
...and whoever said that they inspect all tourist when they come back to the US is ignorant and even if they DID, maybe they hadn't shown signs of the flu yet.... |

No. The 8 cases in NYC for example, are American highschool students who went to Mexico on a school trip. This has nothing to do with illegals at least in those cases.
And the way these disease is spreading in Mexico, people are getting really sick from it and some have died. If you have any clue how these illegals get over the border (some have to swim the Rio Grande, walk through the desert, hide in trunks) it is not easy when you are healthy. I doubt seriously anybody with this swine flu would make it across the border.
Also they do not check tourists for illnesses when they travel. Peoplw who are sick travel all the time on airplanes and nobody stops you from doing so.
The virus does not know a Mexican from a U.S. citizen or any other person. It cannot even tell a human from a pig. It just jumps from one living being to the next. |

The illegal ones are, they are not acceptable for one reason or another so they cross illegally. These are the people that we do not need in our country. Now we will be paying even more for their medical bills as if before was not enough. |
