Chupa... you are completely wrong! In fact, the American citizens pay over 50 billion dollars a year supporting illegal immigrants. In Arizona alone, 1.8 billion dollars of American tax money goes to illegal Mexicans. That means that I pay about 700 dollars a year for them to have their babies and get free health care. Did anyone ask me if my money could be used for that? NO! This money is taken from me without my consent by bleeding heart liberals that think illegal Mexicans flooding into this country is cute. They do not create more jobs, they take them away. They do not raise wages, in fact... if you pay any attention to the news at all, they drive wages down. You really need to wake up! Illegal immigrants (from Mexico) are saturating our health care system. The poor people of this country is what our 'free' health care is designed for. But, it is being overwhelmed with illegal Mexicans. I know many doctors and believe me when I say that they complain on a daily basis that they have to hire interpreters just to communicate with all the illegal Mexicans. They can't give good health care to Americans because their offices are run like assembly lines, just passing so many illegal Mexicans through day to day. Just because Mexicans overpopulated their own country, does not give them the right to come here and do the same thing to our country. They lack education, they can't speak our language and they have no job skills. So tell me, how are they helping America? In a recent study, it was found that Latinos in general have more babies than all the other races put together. They are the most prolific race on the planet. Why? Because they are ignorant of what their actions are doing to the world. Mexicans need to grow up and get a clue. They also need to stop coming here...because we don't want them here! I have some Mexican friends... They came here 'legally'! They did the paperwork, jumped through the hoops etc. I have no problem with that. But when your people flood across our borders by the MILLIONS, steal our childrens identities through your contacts in the social security offices, don't pay taxes (how could you if you are not legally employed), commit crimes such as welfare fraud, employment fraud, identity theft, etc..why do we want them here? Some of my friends are on the police force. They complain, telling me that more than 90 percent of all drunk drivers are illegal Mexican immigrants. I can't go anywhere in my town without seeing illegal Mexicans drinking beer while driving or on the job site. Mostly, they are just standing around while everyone else is working. Hard working people? Sorry..don't see it. So tell me... how do your people make our country better? If your people have problems in their own country, then stay there and solve them. Don't run away to America and expect Americans to give you a free ride. If your people would stop having so many babies...then maybe you wouldn't have an over population issue. Keep it in your pants! Don't make us pay for your blind stupidity!

The real question is, where did you get your "facts"' Please tell us how illegal aliens created 78000 jobs? They may have filled that many, illegally by the way. I doubt that they have generated taxes in proportion to the number working under the table,"off the books". Do you really think they reported income earned as unreported day workers or unreported domestics? They have certainly not raised the average U.S wage but have hurt it, lowered it, by working cheap and pulling other wages down with them, into the gutter. Why did you make up this information. I have no problem with people coming to this country as long as they try to do it legally. But immigrants who come here, don't try to become a citizen, doesn't pay taxes, and don't attempt to learn English should be deported.

If immigrants were taken out of the workforce our farms would fail and where would that leave us. There is an excellent article in Texas Farm Bureau's July issue. Farms are not making alot of money as it is.

I don't think they understand how immigration benefits everybody, on balance. They think that if one party benefits -- say, immigrants -- then that means someone else must be paying the price for that benefit -- namely, the native born. But the reality is both native born and immigrant benefit from immigration. But that's hard for many people to see.

You mentioned 3.8 billion in generated taxes, that is a lot of money, but when you consider that California itself paid over 21 BILLION dollars just in uncompensated medical costs for illegal immigrants, that 3.8 billion isn't a drop in the hat, not to mention the 9 billion it cost California in welfare for illegal immigrants. We pay tens of billions each year for education and services for illegals, and the vast numbers of them are degrading education and services for our own people.

For me, immigrants that are already in the US, legal or illegal, deserve to be here. They have done their service to the society like pay taxes, that gives them the right to be an AMERICAN CITIZEN. What are government should watch out for are those who are planning to cross the border or get a fake VISA. SAVE THOSE INSIDE AND WATCH OUT FOR PEOPLE OUTSIDE.
