Are our politicians from this planet?

The Labour Party and the rest of government, have mastered mass hypnosis, or the people of this country have become sheep, for after all, we listen, we know, and then bleat about the lies these people deliver.

The problem is that it all starts right on your doorstep new candidates for council, asking for your vote, promising to deliver better services, some of these candidates are already members of secret organisations, or will be recruited if successful, the people within these groups see themselves one step up from the rest of society, and so the pyramid grows.

As the people at the bottom of this pyramid are but slaves, at work to pay the taxes to pay their wages.

Once UK sign the constitution of the UN the pyramid will grow to a higher level than the people will be divided permanently.

With a UN president elected by a UN government that we never elected will dictate new laws at an even greater speed, and what small amount of civil rights we have will diminish.

When the government invade a country based on lies, and at the cost of many lives
surely it is time not only to remove the Labour Party, but to insist for a full public enquiry.

And unfortunately for you Dennis you are just beginning to see the truth, but still for the many ignorance is bliss.

When you have to raise 50 million dollars just to run for president, those people only listen to the people that have given them money. They are essentially working for them, not us.
Joe Blow isn't on their radar. By the time that they get done doing all the favors for all the people that have given them money, a new guy gets to come in.

They aren't from another planet; but they are in their own little world. I think the only candidates who are really genuine are Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich; but they are kind of loony. They play the elections like a game and are only interested in power. Why is Hillary Clinton, a centrist, now trying to appear to be a socialist? Why are the liberal Republican candidates changing their views to appeal to conservatives? They don't really believe in anything except for winning. You see the Republicans fighting over who is most like Reagan and the Democrats fussing over who is more anti-war.

You may be on to something. Maybe they aren't from here. Maybe they are the *real* illegal aliens. And yes, it's pretty sickening to listen to their rhetoric, but it's the system we're stuck with, and it's still better than many others around the world. Since it isn't going to change itself, the best we can do is try to change it from within. Wade through the garbage they're trying to sell us, listen to the crap they're trying to feed us, and try to figure out who's the least dangerous. Then VOTE for that person and hope for the best.

Politicians ramble on in the same impassive way regardless of the subject and they do not stand up for their own particular views. They tow the party line and very rarely these days will any MP deviate from that as they are driven by self interest. Any MP who does have the courage to say what they personally think will soon find themselves in a political wilderness!
