The racists, such as Pat Buchanan, Lou Dobbs and Glenn Beck, who populate the cable hate shows have recently been blaming the latest outbreak of swine flu on immigrants. Their anti-immigrant narrative could not be better helped by the fact that the outbreak occurred in Mexico. Never mind that the actual cause of the outbreak is factory farming, in this instance a factory farm operated by the American Corporation, Smithfield Farms. But these modern day nativists need little reason to blame immigrants for a host of social ills, disease being but one of many lies perpetrated by organizations such as the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR). The Federation for American Immigration Reform ("FAIR") continues to be treated by the mainstream media as if it were a legitimate and reliable source of information. Eristic Ragemail has previously posted articles where the media will quote FAIR without elaborating on its extremist elements and more importantly on its web of lies, distortion and outright fabrications. Lou is not anti-immigration, and neither are most people or groups in the U.S. We are anti-illegal alien. The difference is immigrant asked, and obeyed the laws when entering the U.S. and most continue to obey our laws. The illegal aliens did not, and do not obey our laws.

truth hurts. this is just an example of things coming from illegals of all nationalities. these people are not inoculated and are coming in here without being checked for anything, especially not with the swine flu increasing it's presence here and now becoming more fatal. I have said this all along about them not being checked for diseases, viruses etc....No they are working overtime to let the American citizens know what is exactly going on in this country. Hopefully they will keep up the good work.

The talking heads who are having a â€œfield dayâ€ with the illegal immigration / swine flu connection have plenty of other fodder to bolster their opinions.

Illegal immigration is a very simple subject. We have laws about anyone invading our country by illegally means. People who disobey this law are criminals, regardless of their reason. For those hard working people looking for a better life for themselves and their families, we do have a way for them to enter legally. Those deciding to enter, with total disregard these laws are committing a crime. There is NO other interpretation. We are being politically correct by calling them illegal immigrants and stupid for allowing them access to our social programs and facilities supported by U.S. citizen tax monies.

As for the swine flu connection, many of the flu cases already in this country have been traced back to people visiting Mexico, people visiting from Mexico and illegals who slide undetected back and forth from Mexico. It is people like Lou Dobbs, and his ilk, who are not afraid to put the spotlight on the real culprits here. The leftwing mainstream media cares nothing for the protection of U.S. citizens but are only interested in misleading the public with their warped sense of news analysis.
