Are there to many immigrant's in england?

Read this leaflet (in sources) before making up your mind. We are constantly being told by the right wing press that immigration is the cause of all our problems. All they are trying to do is divide and rule - set us against each other so that we can't fight back for better wages and conditions in work. The result? More profits for the bosses and super-exploited immigrants.

No there are not too many immigrants in Britain. We are all people at the end of the day and deserve to be treated equally, wherever we come from.

Those who argue that foreigners should not be allowed into Britain - should we not be allowed to live overseas then?

Britain would be a much more boring, insular and bigoted country if the policy of repatriating people from other countries was followed. There have been many generations of immigrants in any case, who have mixed with Brits, so it would be completely unworkable. We are a nation of immigrants - what about the Anglo Saxons, the Romans, the Norman French, the Vikings . . . Britian has always been a melting pot of different cultures and is the better for it.

I do too. I mean - our country's facing a complete lack of identity because stronger characters are coming to live here and are knocking down our traditions and values etc.
However, our people are not prepared to work hard in many, many cases and the immigrants are. We all think we're worth more than we are and too many of us British people have no political, traditional or Christian values to fight for.

So I stay on the fence.

there are too many I believe. This Government has to get rid of those who are a danger to our soceity and grant those who REALLY can and will be a positive porspect for us. I mean those who are allowed to stay should start working and pay tax for their own good and ours.

Yes there are too many of the wrong sort, we are in grave danger from too many criminals and fighters from too many third world countries scrounging on our generosity and the stupidity of our mad politicians,
we are unarmed and the guns are in the hands of these foriegners,sometime down the line the big bangs going to happen, this is why I intend to work tirelessly for the BNP, they alone can and will turn the clock back!

There are too many. And because of the EU allowing free movement, we have people coming here for a few years, not paying much, if anything, in taxes, then leaving again, whilst taking advantage of our child support and NHS in the mean time. If people come here to work and live and pay taxes etc. and integrate into society, then I have no problem, but we have uncontrolled immigration that lets anyone in.
And yes, there are too many. Especially now we have rising unemployment etc. we really should be looking after British people first, and people who want to come here second.

Honestly I don't think there are enough.

I think it is disgusting that there are British people who, through choice, are second and even third generation unemployed. They have no intention of ever working.

Throw these wastrels into the sea and let in as many foreigners as there are who want to come and work.

Most "immigrants" don't actually intend to live here forever anyway. They either plan to stay for a few months or years and then go home or they are asylum seekers. All genuine asylum seekers should be allowed in. Asylum seekers want to go home when and if it becomes safe for them to do so. If they change their minds then, as long as they will work, who cares?

Anyone who has any job offer should be allowed in. With the one condition that the wages for a foreigner and a native for any job must be the same for the same work.

Too many ON BENEFIT.

I have nothing against people wanting to WORK in the UK, and earn decent living wages. But there are NOT enough of those jobs for the British, let alone a million 'legals'.

The Poles and other europeanised immigrants have the option of going elsewhere - or home. As for the others? All our government has managed to do is import unemployable benefit claimants. And who is paying for them?

there is too many abusing the system, i know the polish are hard workers, but are they big spenders?. factory,by where i work has just laid off english workers and given polish workers a contract. A guy came in my cafe today and tells me how they are claiming for kids back at home that do not exist. two a penny workers taking of the state and abusing the system. one immigrant like this is too many. like the indian nurses who come to uk. after a while they send for their husbands, no problem with that, but then they get pregnant, go back to India to have the baby. does their husband go back? no. they stay and earn the money, lets face it, if they needed them to make the baby. go home to be with your wife when your baby is coming into the world. theres a method in their madness somewhere. wish this government would open up their eyes

I'm just curious why they are all leaving their country for another. Why don't they work on their own country and get better laws established, work on the corruption, get better work and benefits. The US, Canada, and UK all seem to be targeted areas by illegals. They should be stopped!
