Is the pope a catholic ? Edinburgh used to be a great place to live. Step outside or get on a bus and shut your eyes, sounds more like gdansk every day. The pc brigade have won. The only beneficiarys are business owners and immigrants. The UK government had the option to opt out of this EU driven disaster like most of the rest of europe did.

yes there are. im not racist. im the only english person left where i work. and i feel like an outcast. very soon i will go elsewhere. im not happy to go but spending 8 hours a day with people speaking a foreign language and totally ignoring the fact that i dont understand them is too much for me. if i had moved to their country i would expect to feel isolated but this is my country. and it was a nice place where i work. not any more. |

No, there are too many South Asians and Middle Easteners though. The main religions in Eastern Europe are Christianty and Judaism, Poles etc. adjust well because ultimately our principles and laws are based around Christian ideologies. Hinduism is fairly non-confrontational (no more than Christianity) but the principles of Islam do not align with the principles of the UK. Besides, now that they're part of EU, life, the economy will improve in these Eastern European nations and the influx of immigrants will decrease. |

yes, but at least the majority have jobs, unlike the masses of pensioners going to Spain, contributing nothing to the economy, and only really pissing off the locals (anywhere you go in Spain, there is likely to be a large number of english or german people, most of the retired).
But there are too many, we should have limits on immigrants coming in. |

Eastern European or Muslim? Ask any one over in the UK "What's going on?" and they'll tell you the truth because they are there living it. I see a country's language, and culture being pushed aside or even destroyed by people who don't want to assimilate into an already established culture. Who is doing all the terrorist plotting in the UK? It isn't the Scot's. Open your eyes and pull your head out of the sand. I've read the Koran. Here is one quote any FREE woman would like to hear. In Salford the situation is ridiculous. Polish shops, Lithuanian shops, gangs of Eastern Europeans walking round with cans of lager at 6.30 in the morning,Bulgarian gypsies going round the streets looking in people's dustbins.
