Just curious, after having read so many questions about immigration.
What has changed the most for citizens? What do you find threatening?

Britain has always been subject to waves of immigration, and historically has been all the stronger for it. However, in recent decades we have seen an influx of immigrants who have not been assimilating into British society or culture, for one reason or another they remain alien, and do not perceive themselves as British. This is divisive and harmful, and leads to situations like the appalling protests at homecoming troops yesterday. It also fuels racist morons like the BNP, so the UK looses all round. |

I dont like that way how everything is becoming way too PC due to how multicultural the UK is now, I feel that we are in danger of losing our own identity. |

Well... i have a job -so im grateful, but i have work mates who lost theirs.
Bills are going high, and no pay rise this year.
Its bad,but we're not in the 3rd world, so i reckon we wont starve. |

There is no problem here. Just a few racists trying to blame 'immigrants' for the international economic crisis.
Of course, every time there's a recession the fascists crawl out from whatever rock they've been hiding under and try to stir up racism and violence.
Some foolish people believe the nazi's but most of us can see through the BS.

Hi! I'm European and am thinking about going back to the UK. I love the whole easy-going, multicultural mentality.
I live in a very small country but there are loads of Brits here as well. Don't think the UK has got a really bad problem. My country's very small and I can't be as anonymous as I want to be anymore. In Britain, you can if you don't live in a small village, I believe.
So, for the Brits who don't like their country that much anymore, why not try to get happy elsewhere? But, yes, learning another language would be a strong asset. All the best to everyone on here :-) !!! |

uk is alrite but the whole immigration think is a bit bugging i mean im not racist but immigrants are taking tons of our jobs and with this whole credit crunch thing its kinda bugging how they have tons of money and most of us are getting left.(my family is worried they'l take over thats what bugs me cause it our country if people go to othercountry'ss they have to live by thatcountry'ss rules). anywayz rant over lol x |
