I am against BOTH.
I do not believe that if you are illegal and have a baby here, that the baby should be granted AMERICAN status and citizenship.
Those laws need to change.

Illegal immigrants, and I don't think citizenship should be granted to a child of two illegals. But I am not against babies of any kind.

Both! Deport them all. If she's illegal and gives birth in America, then they need to be deported. If they conceived in their home country, then their child should be their nationality.

I am against amnesty for illegal aliens and those that conveniently have multiple kids in America to get them citizenship rights. Their countries need to support the poor and stop this insane notion that jobs and starvation will go away in America. When illegal aliens come over here, they are just adding to the poor in our Nation and disrespect the country I love.

Both, I don't think children born to non citizens should automatically be a citizen if born here, it is absurd. And all the more so if those non citizens are here illegally!

Yes I am. I happen to know two lovely women (and they are very nice) who happen to be from Eastern Europe. They came here for summer internships (working at local hotels/restaurants) with a man from their country--who impregnated both of them prior to their departure from home. They were not obviously pregnant when they arrived, but timed it perfectly to deliver a few months before their visas expried. One of the girls married him after the birth of their son--so now he is able to stay as well. They're great people-and I like them a lot, but I don't approve of their methods. To their credit, they are hard working, honest and kind people. However, I do believe they should be sent home to return legally and fairly. It is sad that the kids would be uprooted (they both have wonderful little boys) but they cheated--and there are so many more who have been waiting to get here legally, On the up side for them and their children--they can give their kids some great insight on their heritage while they wait to return.

I just to get upset but now I feel sorry. We're supposed to encourage our kids into making a world without boundaries of any kind, not just land but also religion, etc. And ask myself who could possibly post a question like this when you have the chance to take a step and make a difference.
