Are you more angry about illegals trespassing, or those Americans that promote, and want it?

i agree with your numbers as to the percentage of citizens opposed to illegal immigration. i do think there are plenty of supporters of illegal immigration in our government. they have tried to slip amnesty through 3 times this year. i don't think most people are aware of this fact. they have also said they will try again before years end. we have way too many sell outs in our government who do what they want despite what their constituents say. i do think that because there are so many citizens who have made it clear that we do not want any kind of amnesty that it would be political suicide to remain pro amnesty. any politician unwilling to enforce our immigration laws needs to voted out of office. i don't think there needs to be any changes to the law just enforcement of existing laws. i also am angry at illegals as they came here knowing we have laws. it was foolish of them to think that we would never enforce them. now they hold their children up and say think of our children? why did they not think of their children? illegal immigrants have created a situation where some of their family is citizens and some isn't. they have uprooted children who have no right to be in the U.S. that will now have to be uprooted again as they are deported. the few americans that promote illegals coming to the U.S. should not try to force their minority opinion, or need to be charitable on the majority.

I personally don't care if people immigrate to this country but what bothers me is that they come here and then still act like the country they left is better than ours. Even though they left it to come here. Having pride in where you come from is one thing, but rallying against the country you come to for help is another.

Just like in the 1800s, I was more upset at the masters than the slaves. The illegal immigrants are looking for a better life. Can't blame them for the conditions in their country. But we can blame the American citizens who run businesses and try to get a one-up over their competitors by hiring illegally. They should know better.

Politicians dont listen to Americans. They are afraid to make a strong stand on immigration with a election on the horizon. Mexicans come here in droves and act like we owe them something. We should send them all back. If they want to live and work in the U.S then They should be required to learn ENGLISH.

Angry only at Ted Kennedy for sponsoring 6 Illegal Immigrant Amnesty bills over the last 21 years and enforcing none of them ! That equals` out to 1,000,000 Illegals a year sneaking into the USA for the last 21 years ! My question to Congress would be this ; If you nimrods in Congress have passed 6 Illegal Immigrant Amnesty bills over the last 21 years , and all 6 bills had our tax money set aside to build a FENCE ; then where is not only the damn fence , but where is our tax money that was set aside "6" times over 21 years to stop Illegals from sneaking in our country ?? You didn`t build a fence with it , so we the people want our money back !! Not to mention what you fools in Congress are now telling us you need millions` & millions` more of our tax dollars to "build a fence" , then you`ll have to get it out of our cold dead bank accounts !!

I have to agree with Crazily, she has that one nailed! We cannot put full blame on illegals for taking advantage of what our government is allowing them to do with little consequence. I am not saying in the least they are free of blame, far from it, they are still breaking the law. For them to be upset and try and put us down for wanting our laws enforced, well, that's too bad, but I could care less if an illegal considers me some hated name. I know myself, my beliefs, and I know when the law says something is illegal, it should be respected, especially when it is only meant to protect us and our rights.

Yes Kyle is right, Crazily does have this one nailed. One cannot expect the law to be upheld, when nothing is done to enforce it, or in our case too little. I have read many sites speaking of wonderful plans to fix, if not eliminate our illegal immigration problem, yet a lot are dated years and years ago. So, if this is true, why has it only been black smoke, instead of an actual force from our government to stop this? It seems Americans are against this, which, isn't that why America was formed, so the people as a majority can make the final decision on how OUR country is to be ran? I'm starting to really wonder though.

Actually, I feel both are to blame, the illegals for coming here, and our government for allowing it to happen. When I say allowing this to happen, I mean that they are doing very little to prevent it from stopping. Instead of cracking down on illegals and those who help illegals, whether letting them rent, or live with them, give them jobs etc., they are trying to deceive us into thinking they are coming up with a great plan to get rid of as many illegals as possible, or that they even care. If we are going to beat this problem we all have to come together as a whole and fix it, instead of dancing around the poll of greed and controversy. Although many Americans are being robbed by taxes, medical care etc. there are those who are making a killing on illegals, and the cheap labor they do. So instead of it being cut into a black and white scenario, it is too many shades of gray, blended by our government and those "bleeding hearts for humanity."

Reyna, have you never taken basic American history, or at least paid attention in class? "Native" Americans are only ones who we have full documentation on. What we do know, although little of, is the first known documented culture was actually Asians who lived here. Also the USA developed and made America what it is today, so should we not protect what we have? If you own a home, well from what you say, it actually belonged to "Native" Americans, so why don't you just go one a give their property back to them? But, no, you wouldn't if you own your own home, and the reason for this is because you've made your house your home, and put your love and attention into it. The USA is our home, and to preserve it for our future generations we have to protect it from those who wish to misuse it. What is more, no one cares about legal immigration, if they wish to better themselves there are ways to do it legally. I can't speak for others, but I myself do have compassion, which is my childrenâ€™s futures, and all other legal Americans childrenâ€™s futures. Period!

Both of them make me angry, but i can at least sympathize w/ the illegals. They are trying to make a better life for themselves, they are just breaking laws and draining another society (arrogantly and publically, unfortunately) to do it. The people trying to make it a race issue or class war piss me off to no end, especially the way they leave out the word "illegal" anytime this topic comes up for debate. "theyre people too, human rights, they arent criminals" Um, they are criminals, we arent saying kill them all just make them enter legally as w/o paying taxes and being catered to they are getting a leg up on a huge class of citizens, which is really detrimental to avoiding the impending class war. Im all for self sufficiency and dont think they Gov. should be held as responsible for supporting the poor, but if they are going to give people that arent even citizens credit cards, free passes at the ER, welfare, college tuition, get out of jail free cards, housing breaks, etc. then everyone should get it.

I am more angry with those whom are pro illegal specially the politicians. They have sworn an oath to protect us from all enemies internal and external.
At least I can understand and somewhat respect someone trying to better themselves.
My real problem with most illegals is they need to assimilate into our society. When I see another countries flag over US soil I take it as a declaration of WAR

How do you figure that Democrats and Republicans don't want illegals to trespass on or in our country? They have dismissed our laws on the books for years. They have given illegals every opportunity to come here and just stay out of the legal system by staying out fo trouble with the law for 5 years, then they magically get an amnesty when it's time to give those out. Just as they keep bringing up another amnesty under many different names for bills to have them here legally.

As long as they keep giving amnesty's, the illegals will still continue to come. As long as they don't enforce the laws on the books, by not punishing those who hire the illegals, (regarding employers and business's) it's the immigrants coming legally, and the American people who will continue to suffer for it.

Both party's disgust me anymore.

Most Americans don't want amnesty for the illegal alien criminals that are here breaking our laws. Congress doesn't listen!

I am furious at Congress for not listening, the employers for hiring the illegals and the illegals themselves for coming her and stealing from Americans. I am also pissed at Jorge Bush for caring more about Mexican citizens than Americans!

i think we should classify people into categories. those that want to come here and make an honest living, make it legal to come on in, those that want to sell drugs, out, those that want to work, but live in their home country, make it legal to come on in, those that want to blow us up, out, those that want to mooch off welfare, out. also, i think we should revamp our border patrol, and be as strong in the west, north and east as on the south, and paramilitarize the border patrol, and make it more of an elite force, with military training and the power of civilian arrest.

Illegals traspassing. I don't really mind that they trespass and get a job here. But once they get a job they SHOULD start to apply for residency or/and citizenship if they want to stay in the U.S. Why live here illegally. It has been a better life for them here..why not do the RIGHT thing. Take what it takes.

It does not bother me, the only ones bothered should be the natives because to this day they have nothing to say about what use to be their country...now people act like their ancestors didn't still this land themselves, people need to stop being greedy because if they were born in a messed up country, by the way they wine about things, they'll be the 1st ones jumping the border, people just need more empathy.
