I live in South Florida (a Native American) where illegal immigration is over whelmingly high. If the legal & illegal work forces were to join together & stop work, we would not have much production of many trades and it would have a major effect on the economic status. We need to have some compromise and not allow the political goverment to rule on as a BROAD SPECTRUM.

Or are we at least allowed to run an international criminal records check and kick out the ones convicted of serious crimes elsewhere? Do you really want to let just anyone come in all willy nilly like that? No controls? No rules and regulations? Since when does an individual, or group, get to decide which laws to obey, and which to disobey? You know what is really funny about that big "demonstration" of how important illegal immigrants are to our country. All they did is prove that they really AREN'T! Big deal, let them walk off their jobs. Maybe then the employers will be forced to pay legal wages to people that ARE willing to do those jobs they allege TRUE Americans aren't willing to do. We just might lower our unemployment rate, and have more resources available for the people that are registered and accounted for! As for things like the loss of Mexican businesses--please, ever heard of Taco Bell or Amigo's!! lol
