hmm yes and no. living here gives more access to some things i like but as a mexican, thank god i live in california so i can cross the border whenever to be in my dear Tijuana. I guess there's no better place than home. I have to admit that Tijuana is not that safe anymore but my most beautiful memories are from Tijuana.
if i live here is because my bf is "gringo" and we moved here like 2 years ago. we used to live in Tijuana but 2 years ago decided we were going to have a better life here in Ca. San Diego has a lot of places I like a lot but i still cannot used to it :) |

Without a doubt, I am a very lucky man. I am white, born in the USA, I have a job in a family business. I am not rich but I am not poor. I enjoy many thing others don't and I appreciate everything that I have expierenced, my family and friends. If Jesus came to me and asked if I would like a redo with no hints of how it would turn out, I would have to decline. It would not be the risk to lose anything that I have now. I owuld not trade my family, family history, my job, income or anythnig else. There is nothing that could make my life better. More money would be nice, but being rich isn't everything. There is more to life. Out of 6 billion people only about 250 million can claim to be born in America! I am one of that 250M. That makes me lucky anyway you slice it! |

Hmm, I used to say yes to both, and I still do.
However I've listened to other countries here that say that America has much less freedoms than others.
So, while I have nothing to compare it to, I will tell you this: This is our country, these are our homes, these be our children, immigration makes us strong, but colonization and La Reconquista makes us mad and we won't take the selling out of our home security or our citizenship.
My America might be a different view than your America, but it's still America, and not open to colonization to cede states back to Mexico. |

No-i'm thankful i live in a country that isn't rich on the backs of sweatshops, economic embargoes, oil wars, breaking ecological protocals, strategic bullying, arrogant business tactics. And i'm proud to be living in a continental state of such peaceful co-existence with the rest of the world whose culture is not as greedy, pleasure grabbing and inconsiderate as its Western Neighbour. I'm sorry but its how i feel and i hope that perhaps the great aspects of American culture will shine through to wisdom and peaceful co-existence some day.

No. I am on my way to Brazil. I am sick of America and its bullsh-t! Fell in love with Brazil a few years ago and scraped up the necessary bucks for a permanent visa. Have no plans of returning to the States, not even in a body bag.
