They are already leaving Arizona in droves. We instituted a similar law in Oklahoma and we have seen an exodus also. Maybe the other states will wise up and pass similar laws since the federal government seems unlikely to do anything.

this is great news. here in the south we are already feeling the impact of illegals. I'm planing on writing the mayor of my town about illegals. we need to get them out.

,I hope the law works. It is time to take back or work force from the illegals. Maybe it will get our kids away from the TV set go out and get a job. Of course I'm about talking about our 16-24 year kids, these kids have sat at home playing games, instead they could be out working since they don't, the illegals have showed up and taken all those jobs, but we as parents are at fault to allow are kids to get fat and dumb. The biggest event of the day is some bs that happen on MTV. So yes lets put our kids back to work, the illegals will go back home....

I think is going to work and every obeyed American citizen should be anti illegal, specially when is costing us so much. Why should we the American middle class should be in favor of companies making more money by hiring illegals and then leaving the responsibilities of education, health care, etc. to the legal citizens of this country. That is outrageous.

I fail to see the reason for so much debate over illegal immigration in this country. It all comes down to one simple question. What part of illegal does this country, or some of its people not understand?

Illegal is illegal. It is breaking the law, the same as stealing, killing, robbing, and drunk driving. We want to have simpathy for these "poor" people who come here from other countries, (not just Mexico).

Here in Middle Tennessee, there is a company that got caught employing illegals, and in fact lost over 1000 employees because of imigration status. Now civil groups and some advocates for these illegals are trying to scare the town saying this will negatively affect the city and local economy. This even though many legal residents there were out of work, because these jobs were being done by people who should not have been here anyway.

If you are illegally here in this country, you have rights. You have the right to leave before you are run out. You have the right to try to come back legally. You have the right to expect to be caught if you stay here illegally. If you have family in this country, you have the right to take them with you as you leave.

I agree, the media will not report success, but crying, and sob stories. In fact, when the immigration issue is finally settled, the next thing should be to remind the media, their job is to report news, not make it, shape it, or try to run the country.

Illegals are not "leaving in droves" rofl. I don't want it to fail at all, I would love to see the people of Arizona working hard..rofl..

It is already being challenged in court and will, like other attempts, fail.

ONLY the Federal government can make and enfoce immigration laws. States can pass any laws they wish, but they cannot override the Federal government.

Every stoopid law like this has been overturned by the Supreme Court as being totally out of jurisdiction and illegal.

government thinks it can stop illegals from coming to this country looking for work by implementing these laws, but I think they are wrong. we need to seriously look at making some of the people who have been here since before they could speak - legal. notice I said PEOPLE -- not illegals. these people do contribute to our economy as well as sending money back to their families. I wish Mexico was a better place so these people wouldn't want to come here. look at Canada - they want nothing to do with us.

Its not the unfortunate we are afraid of it is the lawless. If the parents break into the country. Where do the children go from there. Between the white kids doing mass murder ,the black
kids killing themselves,and the indians substance abusing. Do we really need a generation of hispanics with parents whose first American act was lawbreaking? I think the south western states were stolen from Mexico by force. If all of mexico does the paper work they can take it back. Why don't they?
