My biggest issue with illegals is that we do not know which ones are the rapist, child molesters, murders, gang members etc...who come over here and then we get to foot the bill for them to stay in Jail and prison. I think America has to start being strict about this whole thing. Do you know if you wanted to become a citizen of Mexico you have to speak the language there and have alliance to no one but them. I don't have problems with the good decent law abiding person who come to this country to better himself/herself, works and pay their taxes. I have big problems with the ones who come over here and get free medical, free food, free dental and I'm busting my *** to work and can't get any of it. It's bad enough we have problems with our own lazy American people and now we are just strecthed thin period with all these millions of illegals and we are the ones paying for all this stuff. I wonder how many illegals get section 8, food stamps, free dental, free medical? I don't have any problems with helping the working poor people no matter what race you are, but I'm sick of lazy people and I'm sick of America being a free hand-out place for persons who know they can come here and get over. I get really mad when you go to a store and over the intercom they don't speak English it's all Spanish. Hello this is America!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If that is not an invasion then I don't know what is. I don't understand why the authorities, who know when and where the illegals are having rallies, don't round them up and send them home.

The actions of Mexico to encourage the exodus of their citizens could be considered an act of war. The bitter rhetoric used by the Mexican government to attempt to deny our securing our border is far less cause to provoke war than many wars have been fought. The ones who scream La Raza and Aztlan BS should be the first ones thrown back across the border.

I agree. Hey...that's the oath every military person makes and those in public office. It is an invasion. Defending takes on different meanings though. I don't beleive it's guns drawn mentality since I'm not convinced our government didn't create this invasion for their own benefit.

I'll put my tin hat on and now say what I'm worried about. The change with declaring martial law after 911 and Bushes deadline bothers me. I hate to say this but it's not out of the scope to wonder if they aren't setting us up for some radical action to give him the excuse to declare martial law. It just doesn't feel right. Something MORE is in this whole picture. We aren't in the loop for the grand picture and nothing makes any logical rational sense. Laws created aren't enforcable? Since when? Why create a law that can't be enforced? Where are all the various parts of our government? Isn't it supposed to be a system of checks and balances? Silence talk radio? English isn't our official language? America can't enforce it's borders? You can tell a police officer nothing and he just HAS to let you go? "I want" makes it's ok to break laws? Since when? Just recently. Sorry....don't buy it. This whole things STINKS. It's the anti's fault if we're bombed again because we didn't want amnesty in order to get the the laws that should have been enforced for DECADES be funded, when they were already funded and made into law? Time is dwindling and I'm sceptical of ANYTHING anymore. ACT not REACT.

I mean please.....if comming over the border and dropping babies was SO EASY.....don't you think this would have been done in mass before? My kids HAVE to have SS# and shot records and multiple proof of residency yet....illegals don't? I'm sorry.........don't buy it. An Illegal can get a charge card with 500 bucks in a checking account......but I can't? A muslim doesn't have to scan bacon but I can't ask for Sunday off? LaRaza can have BANNERS saying kill the whites but someone says anything bad about the government and they're in jail? A kid can have Midol in their locker and be busted for DRUGS...but an illegal can come over the border and be set free as long as it's under 500LBS? A kid can get busted for showing her belly button in school....but a worker can whiz and take a dump in your front yard and nothing? I can get fined because my grass is too tall......but 25 people in a house goes un-noticed?

I would really like someone to come up with the proof that this "invasion" was a direct result from an agreement. They say we invade other countries.....but it's not without their government telling us to do so.

The people you're alluding to and dismissing as "invaders" are merely trying to survive and to provide for their families. I don't understand why your anger isn't directed at the people who hire them (restaurants, construction, maids, landscaping, etc) off the books. It all comes down to greed, in the final analysis. Wealthy countries exploit poorer ones for their cheap labor and natural resources all the time. What baffles me however is that people in wealthy countries seem genuinely surprised when that comes back to bite them in the ***. Lack of perspective and foresight, not to mention a basic understanding of economic realities.
