As most of the murders in London are committed by foreigners should we ban immigration to the UK ?

Immigration should be limited to the people who will benefit our land. They should not be allowed to become full citizens until they have lived here for ten years and not caused any problems. During this probationary period, they should be allowed only temporary right of residence which may be revoked if any criminal act is committed. Immediate re-patriation would follow.

they were solved crimes, and lots more unsolved and under different parts of the police that are not in them figures. for example it didn't take into account the child killings and the operation anvil so they have left out of the figures almost a hundred murders. that is a lot of murders to be left out to suit the telegraphs agenda

Since when did quoting statistics make one a racist? The majority of immigrants are white europeans who, in the main, follow the Christian faith. So how can a white Briton be accused of racism knowing that fact?
Every newspaper in the land has, over the last few months printed the crime statistics and they show quite clearly that as the number of immigrants has increased so has crime. They have also given the figures in relation to those committed by immigrants. It did not need a genius to work them out and the figures were quite shocking. Now, either the statistics are a figment of someones imagination or we do have a problem.Common sense tells you that if you let a million people (conservative estimate) into a country then a proportion of these will be criminals. As this government made no provision for this influx in regards to housing education welfare etc, it made no extra provision in policing and prison spaces, hence the overcrowding in our jails. Speaking of which, how do you think that has happened all of a sudden? I'm getting on a bit and I have never come across jails not being available. So full are they that we are letting them out, has your average Brit decided to join the criminal fraternity in their thousands? I think not. Of course the majority of immigrants are not criminals, but if you let too many in, then by the law of averages you increase your number of villains. It is not about race but about numbers! As to the point someone made about the NHS collapsing without migrant labour, what a load of c**p. Do they not remember the furore earlier this year about the number of newly qualified nurses and doctors who could not find jobs in the NHS? That problem was quickly hushed up. Until quite recently I worked in the NHS and I know from personal experience that it is a fact. Many ancillary workers in the service are immigrants, but that is because these services eg cleaning, catering and portering are done by outside companies who are there to make a profit and pay only minimum wage. As to immigration, please look around you and tell me that the sheer numbers entering has had no impact whatsoever on this country and I will go quietly.

I'd love to know where you got these facts from , as it seems to me that within the UK most of the murders and serious crime are committed by UK citizens . But if a foreign national commits a serious crime they should be punished in UK then deported to wherever they came from , whatever regime is in force there ,
The level of immigration is a separate question , and to me has a simple answer i.e a points system . If an individual can contribute to our society then they are welcome . Without a level of immigration our health service would collapse !!

I have nothing against people from other countries coming to live in the United Kingdom as long as they behave. If they don't behave they should feel the wrath of the law, simple as. Stopping immigration is rather silly, reducing the number who emigrate to the UK is a better idea. We have severe need of nurses, teachers and doctors, along with other occupations and people with those qualifications should be able to emigrate here without any fuss. I think there should be a points system like in Australia and Canada, that would slow down immigration and aid the economy. So no i don't think immigration should be stopped, just slowed down a bit!

But a few things to remember. The murder rate in London has fallen from 176 in 2003-04 to 127 in 2006-07. Most murders are unsolved, and maybe foreigners are more likely to be caught because they don't know the country.

if UK is liberal with criminals , extra legal justices can not be dispensed by legal process. Some one is going to chase their criminals across the globe.
I remember an extradition case , of fugitive made plea that he does not understands english and all documents be translated in to his native language . After his extradition was rejected he was all over the channels giving interviews in queen english.

I wouldn't say Ban it, but there are obviously social problems when there is too much too soon of anything and people aren't assimilating. It seems every place that is experiencing massive immigration is experiencing serious social criminal problems. My own opinion is a temporary halt and give some breathing time to play catch-up. Can't keep pouring water down a drowning mans throat even if water is good for you.

Now back to your question, criminals should be classified as criminals simple, Eg, quiet a large percentage of doctors in the uk or in health care are of indian origin, should you ban all uk natives form being treated by foreign doctors, just because they are foreigners??

i forgot english people r all angels! most of the gun and knife crime are from the ethnic community but they are still english!
