What all I can make out from your question that you are Canadian Citizen, your wife India & the the expected child will be born in USA.
By virtue of birth the child will be American, provided the child on attaining age of majority doesn't opt for citizenship of any other country of the parents.
The mother being Indian can get the birth of the child registered under the Citizenship Act,1955 with the Indian Consulate/Embassy in USA within one year of the child's birth, this will keep an option open for the child to have Indian citizenship, by revoking when the child attains age of majority (18years) the US citizenship which he/she got by birth or any other citizenship got through his/her parent.
A similar provision exist for the Canadian parent to get the birth of the child registered with the Canadian Embassy/Consulate under the Canadian Citizenship enactment, thus keeping the Canadian citizenship open for the child which can be confirmed by him/her on attaining the age of majority & revoking other citizenship .
Till the age of majority the said child can be having different country's Citizenship, but once he/she attains the age of majority only one citizenship can be continued & other have to be revoked by the child.

Yes. He/she will be born in America, he/she will be an American.

If she gives birth in the US, her child will get a US birth certificate, which means the child is a US citizen. If your wife has canadian citizenship, she can apply at the nearest canadian embassy for a 'certificate of birth abroad' which will grant the child canadian citizenship as well. If she's a native indian, you can look around here: http://www.cic.gc.ca and see if her or her child is entitled to other things as well, such as a certificate of Indian status.

This child can also acquire the citizenship of the father as well, by applying at the embassy for that country, for a certificate of birth abroad.

i am assuming your wife is an asian indian.

yes.. baby will be an us citizen if he/she is born in the mainland US. But how you are going to get the insurance covered for your wife during the child birth ? I guess you could use your canadian passport to get into US as per the TN rules - but dont know how you are going to get your wife.. I think you should have to apply for a tourist visa - then trust me the embassy would ask you a hell a lot of question when your wife is preganant.. even if you were able to get the visa then you may be given a short time of I90 at the port of entry when the border & security personal found your wife to be pregnant..

its kind of illegal if you are mentioning about the pregnancy when she is getting into the country at this stage..
