Best way to get Australian working visa?

just wondering for my partner what the best way to get an australian second working visa is? is it best to do the 88 working days first then apply? or apply while undergoing the days? is it also best to do it online? and if you do and by some chance get rejected when can you apply again?
any help would be great only have a couple of months to do this!

The only way to get your second Working Holiday visa is to complete your 88 days and then apply. It's not possible to apply before you've finished the 88 days but you must time things so that your application is made before your first visa expires - allow at least a couple of weeks for processing. Online application is fine and usually faster.
If you supply all of the required evidence in the correct format and complete your application correctly, it's unlikely to be rejected so make sure you read the requirements carefully and do everything by the book - DIAC officers are VERY inflexible about the rules for second visas.
Acceptable evidence includes:
• a completed form 1263 Working Holiday visa: Employment verification, signed by your employer(s), which you can obtain from the nearest office of the department or from http://www.immi.gov.au/allforms/pdf/1263.pdf
and/or (and is best - you can't have too much proof)
• an original or certified copies of payslips, group certificates, payment summaries, tax returns and/or employer references.
Note: Providing form 1263 and additional evidence will allow your application to be assessed more quickly.
If by chance it is rejected on a technicality and not on character or medical grounds, you can apply again at any time before you turn 30 but will have to pay the visa application fee again. Be aware that once an application has been rejected, it is always more difficult when you reapply and the chance of a second, final rejection is high. You also run the risk of being here on an expired visa and it's very important that you avoid that situation. |

I am certain that the people to ask of this question would be the Government department who originally gave your other half, the Visa; in the first instance as a general enquiry and mentioning that he already has it, but enquiring about extensions.
Considering the government and how quickly they act in several areas, I would be making that approach, as soon as possible. |
