British Citizen hoping to move to Rep of Ireland, help and advice needed pls?

I am currently a loan parent living in England, I am hoping to move to West Cork in August to allow my daughter to grow up in a much better environment (and closer to her father). I've searched the web but cant seem to find the answers that I'm looking for, so pls can anyone help. Will I be able to claim Child benefit as soon as I arrive in the country? Is there any other benefits I will be able to claim instantly? (I currently claim Income support) I received a work number 3.5yrs ago but will this still be valid, as I would like to go into employment? Can I apply for any rent allowance as soon as I arrive or would I have to wait a few months? My daughter is 5 and currently goes to an English school, therefore I would have to put her into school in Ireland, should I be applying now?
I would be very grateful for anyones help, many thanks in advance...

between Ireland and UK there is a special treaty, you can move straight away and register there for residency and also you are entitled for government help since you move till you find a job. It is easssssy.
Check website for Ireland and read more info and also contact the Irish Embassy to get more info. But if you are moving to Northern Ireland it is in the Great Britain ( not sperated yet). |

If your child's father is in Ireland, he could look into a school place for her.
This link is from a British website telling you what you need to do before you leave, you should speak to the JobCentre or wherever it is you sign on in the UK, explain you're moving to the Republic & ask what you need to do while you're in the UK to enable you to claim benefits when you arrive in the Republic
