Yes it seems the BNP have come of age, of about a 4 year old it seems. Or may be I am being insulting to most 4 year olds? |

Yeah, coming of age - years of dressing in cheap suits and pretending not to be the National Front, and still no councils, No MPs and derisory results in every election! The monster raving loony party has more credibility that these saggy-crotched no-hopers! |

A load of daft old men and silly young kids united in their stupidity. Sounds a particularly unhealthy relationship to me. |

The BNP is the same tiny bunch of nutters it's always been.
The only good thing about it is that we know who the nutters are and we know where they are. |

bringmesunshine is back!!!

I doubt it somehow. Two councillors have left the party in recent weeks, so they can't be doing much right. |

To answer this sensibly, back in the 60s and 70s, the pre Thatcher era, when the country had far more respect for trade unions ( before they blew it by being too bolshy and let the iron lady in with a mandate to smash their power ) the communist party never ever got more than a handful of votes.
So do I think that a far right party will ever win any real power now that we are having immigration problems?
No, I don't.
The simple reason being that the British in general have a strong distrust and horror of extremists. However much we may rant and rave, come polling day we vote in yet another bunch of bland muppets because we feel safe with them. |

Is that tired old after-party still awake and drinking? Still sweating and swearing and scratching at its oedipal scars?
Communities evolving, losing insular boundaries, and people still scared by the neighbors they haven't talked to? Are the new people still being blamed?
New communities lost in a mass rut of petty-hate?
'Native' population already itself such a strange mix-up of massive historic immigration that no-one hardly knows who their great-great-grandparents were?
British Nation Not Really Anything But All Of Us All Here Now?
And are WE, the people that live in this land, still believing that we are scared of these people, these foetal politicians, who claim from their redbrick castles that they will do anything with politics other than turning it into a football chant ringtone?
The British national party should turn its music down and start talking to the neighbours. |

I can never understand how the BNP get such a lot of publicity compared to the utterly tiny number of their supporters.
Occasionally, one of them will get elected to a council seat. Have you noticed that you never hear anything about them after that?
They don't do anything; they don't change anything; they are an irrelevance who should be completely ignored. |

No need for me to respond otherwise as livingfortheweekend2's answer hits the nail on the head. |

I never imagined that one day I would have sympathy for the BNP; however, the forced "multiculturalism" and the offencive gibe that one is "racist" for not wanting the biggest ethnic change in UK history is making me think a little differently.
To preserve the UK is not racist, it is simple patriotism; moreover to stop mass immigration into one of the most overcrowded places in the world is not racist either it is plain common sense.
Incidentally, to be anti Islam is also not "racist" either despite "George Gallowayist logic" Islam is a political/religious doctrine at least 50% political and there fore to be anti Islam is political and patriotic not racist
Mass immigration is forcing us to bulid on the green belt and the pro mass immigration lobby will find a way of denying this too. Property prices are off the charts due to mass immigration. |

They might seen radical, but they're the only party that has worthwhile solutions to the immigration and terrorism problems. People feel that they've got no one else to turn to. |
