Why dont you Citizens Arrest some real criminals that are actually commiting a crime. Go to where they sell guns and bust them. Or go to where they sell votes and bust them. Go to that place they dont feed homeless people and bust them for Crimes against Humanity. Go to the Hospital that turns the Veterans widow away because she has no Insurance and bust them for Failure to Respond. Then get a life and leave the working people alone.

Yes. It's called kidnapping, and it's a felony that carries a long prison sentence. Call the authorities and have them take care of it. People don't take too kindly to being held forceably against their will, and will do drastic things to keep that from happening. You could find yourself waaaay over your head if you do something like that.

IN most states, you can't make a citizen's arrest unless you WITNESS the arrested person committing a felony, so no.

Citizen's arrests are only for situations where you see a crime being committed. Absent any knowledge of someone's immigration status, you would have no rights in that regard.

You can do something CONSTRUCTIVE.

Do what the Mexicans do - get a set of tools and hire yourself out to do home repair work at a reasonable rate. You'll be providing a good service, and you'll have the opportunity to start your own business.

first of all the ca Penal code section cleary denotes PC 837, A PRIVATE PERSON ARREST CAN BE MADE BY ANYONE.SECONDLY, the crimes can be anything from tresspass, a public nuisance, felonies etc. thirdly , you dont have to have witnessed the crime, but it is better when evidence needs to be presented. i have done this. you must announce your intent to arrest, and the violation committed, and equal force is available to detain them.you then must hand them over to the law enforcement agency of your choice.and fill out a private person arrest incident report. Law enforcement has to take them into custody. Also, any illegal alien in this country gainfully employed is committing a felony. good luck.
