As a U.S. permanent resident, will I need a Passport of some sort?...maybe my Country of birth passport? When I check out similar questions like this people give different answers. I really need a true answer and source, please. Thank You

Since Puerto Rico is part of the US, you could go with just a photo id. however, it's still a good idea to take your green card, especially for the flight back. CBP might think you're Dominican. |

Last I checked everyone entering Puerto Rico was to be inspected. All US citizens are required to have a government issued passport. All others needed to have a passport and visa with the exception of citizens of Canada, Bermuda and Mexico.
Puerto Rico is a self-governing commonwealth in association with the United States. |
