An illegal alien (one in the US without legal permission) can and should be deported whenever, wherever, and however discovered. |

yes, illegal aliens would be stupid to think the airport is safe to travel without getting caught.

Since your anti-white and racist like many brown people in the U.S. are, I would love to see someone like you get deported.

As of the last time I flew on a domestic flight (2004) one could hardly maneuver through an airport without showing proper government issued identification.
I doubt that a person (legal or not) can buy an airplane or train ticket without showing a current government issued form of identification.
This also goes for check in, baggage check and security screening and boarding.
I recently stood in line at the Amtrak station. In front of me were two people attempting to buy an Amtrak ticket without identification. They were refused.
I don't know about Greyhound policies.
As far as deportation, it used to take quite a bit of legal wrangling to prove that a person was here illegally in order to deport them. But since 9/11 -- it seems like it' shoot first and ask questions - never. Just about anything goes.
I don't know why foreign nationals don't get a passport in their home country and then travel to their final destination on a tourist or student visa. It seems a lot easier to do that than to risk life and limb to sneak across the US border. And cheaper than paying some cut throat Coyote.
Hm mm ... good question! I think I will post it. |

Your question isn't clear- Are you talking about an illegal person who travels on a domestic flight or about someone who will become an illegal immigrant once he arrives in the USA.
In the first scenario, I'd say chances are slim. TSA and airport security will attempt to verify that the domestic passenger has a government-issued ID. If the illegal person has a valid driver's license, TSA will be happy enough.
If the person arrives with intent to become an illegal immigrant, chances are much better that he'll be "excluded," not "deported." Technically, you can only be "deported" if you're admitted. It's simpler to deny admission and exclude someone than it is to deport him after he's been admitted.
Let's say someone was admitted as a tourist but that time has expired. Today that person is "out of status." If apprehended and turned over to ICE (the old Immigration), it'll be up to them to decide what to do. Being out of status makes someone eligible for deportation. But there are too many unknown variables right now to say *when* the deportation will happen. Might be, ICE will set up a deportation time a year from now, might be they'll take custody of him and deport him tomorrow. Too many variables.
Chances are, anyone with a government-issued ID can fly domestically. No guarantees, but I'd say chances are slim that someone will get detained. Any TSA folk know better?? |

Yes, in fact one guy was deported after he was arrested at O'Hare while trying to pick up his grandmother!
They are checking ID on ALL flights, and it had better be valid.
The 3rd link below is to an article about a woman w/ an expired visa being arrested on immigration charges. |

Pretty sure. They check ID at security checkpoint. AND baggage check. |

I dont think so, I mean, I believe that if they fly within the us in a local airport, not an international, airport security only checks for ID's and only that, so you must have a valid US goverment issued ID and your boarding pass. |

No. So go right ahead, your safe. |

No. No one from customs or immigration would look at the persons information since they are traveling within the US.
EDIT: I keep getting thumbs down. Apparently FACTS are too much for people to handle. I'm not going to lie and say yes that someone will get caught, when they won't!!! |

of course.. they stay away from the airports |
