The only country a Kiwi can live and work in without restrictions is Australia.The UK requires that you qualify for skilled immigration unless you qualify for a long term visa because a parent or grandparent was born there. That's not so unfair - NZ has even tougher restrictions on people from the UK moving to NZ.

Hey Sidwell - it's never too late while you're still breathing and we even let you bring your partner and kids with you (if you have any).

NO - Kiwis must still apply to immigrate to UK.
It is somewhat easier if one of your grandparents was born in what is now UK. This however does NOT apply to great-grandparents.

So far the ONLY country where Kiwis can live without restrictions is Australia.
