Can a u.s. citizen marry a canadian in canada, then file for the k-3?

How much does it cost? how long does it take to file? can the fiancee live in the u.s. as a tourist, or even travel until the interview during this process?

well, the US citizen can certainly go to Canada to get married. however, he'd have to return to file a CR-1 I-130 immigrant petition for her and/or the K-3 I-129f. difficult to say just how long that would take. the I-130 could take a year or more, but the K-3 can go faster. she could possibly travel to the US as a tourist during this period, but she wouldn't be able to stay, and if they think she really intends to stay, they won't let her in as a tourist.
