Can i go back to my own country?

i got the permanent resident card( green card) in US one year ago based on my asylum status.Can i go back to my own country where I fled from for a short visit to the relatives? will there be any problem when i re-enter the united states.

Funny how peoples countries all of a sudden become safe to return to AFTER asylum is given. I wish our government would look into this. If asylum is given based on your fear of returning to your home country and then you turn around and go back after you have been given privileges in this country,it is apparent that the asylum is no longer needed.
To answer your question,yes you can visit and return without any problem. Since you are not a US citizen,you will have no protection from our government in your home country. If you encounter a problem,you are on your own.

Why in the world would you want to go back to the country you received asylum from in the states? I would think that that would be a slap in the government's face for doing that and that they would investigate if you received your asylum status under false pretenses.

yes you can go back to ur country. but You have to come back before 6 months over.

it wont be problem if u back in 6 months time after ur exit. but after 180 days u have to face some problem...
